Iye, aku adalah antara ribuan pekerja yg x bernasib baik menjadi mangsa retrenchment disebabkan Covid19. I was given the termination letter in early May and was asked to sign and left the company on the same day. There were 2 months notice period given but within that period aku no longer need to go to the office and the company masih bayar gaji until my last day of work late last week. So now ahkak dah takde keje chuols!!! Left the company with a heavy heart after serving for 11 years.
Anyhow, life must go on. For the past two months, aku dah start cari keje baru. Hakikatnye bukan senang ye nak cari keje baru skang ni. Imagine satu position beratus org apply. As of last week aku dah apply 65 jobs, of which half dah kene reject. And among the active applications, aku hanya dapat 2 interview. Mmg mencabar okeh. Aku juga ada apply via recruitment agencies tapi so far belom ada yg sangkut. Yang paling down bila the recruitment agency ckp the expected salary is too high and the employers prefer younger candidates. Hadeehhhh hadehhhhh. Terasa nak give up jer but iols harus tabah huhuhuhu.
Sementara dok tunggu dapat keje baru, aku sempat ke Cameron Highlands lagi sekali. This time pegi dgn akak aku satu family. Dapatlah cuci mata tengok kehijauan alam. Nak carik ketenangan kononnye tapi ya ampun org ramai sesungguh lahai. Jem manjang. Dah la banyak attractions blom bukak. Jadiknya layan lah takat yang ada je.
Skang ni hati dah tergedik2 nak berjalan tapi terpaksa krik krik krik je kat umah. Kene bertabah je lah sampai kewangan stabil sket. Tak tau berapa lama lagi nak menanam anggur ni, dah la compensation from the company blom settle. Semoga ada lah rezeki untuk aku kat mana2. Amin!
